Firm Overview

Karen Kruse Law, PLLC is proud to help workplaces work — for both employers and their employees. Having practiced employment and labor law for more than 25 years, Seattle attorney Karen Kruse has broad and deep experience in this business‑critical and human‑centered practice area. Karen's interest in employment law was sparked during her several years serving as a personnel and labor relations professional for the State of Alaska — experience that inspired her to earn a law degree and to focus her practice on the workplace. Decades later, she remains intensely interested in the many dimensions of employer‑employee relationships, and in the problem‑solving opportunities these relationships present.

In 2016, after almost 25 years of practicing at national law firms, Karen founded Karen Kruse Law, where she continues to provide quality, responsive client services but at lower rates and with more flexibility. She is excited and honored to continue serving as outside employment counsel for several long‑time clients, as well as to earn the trust of new clients.
